Saturday 8:30am - 12:30pm:
- 28th September - (65 & OVER ONLY)
- 19th October - 65 & over, under 65’s in ‘at risk’ group
- 23rd November - 65 & over, under 65’s in ‘at risk’ group
Due to a national delay in the manufacturing of one of the vaccines we are only able to vaccinate the 65 & OVERS on 28th September. Please do not come to this clinic if you are under 65 and in the ‘at risk’ group
No appointment necessary.

Every year the practice runs a series of Flu clinics providing flu vaccinations for patients that are deemed to be ‘at risk’.
This is part of the national flu immunization programme which aims to protect those most at risk of serious illness or death should hey catch flu.
In the UK, the Department of Health recommends annual flu vaccination for adults aged 65 and over, pregnant women, those living in long-stay residential care homes, healthcare workers and carers, and all those aged six months and over with any of the following conditions:
Chronic heart, kidney or liver disease
Weakened immune system
Severe asthma (on a preventative inhaler) or chronic respiratory disease
All pregnant women
BMI over 40
Chronic neurological disease (such as Parkinson’s disease, motor neurone disease, stroke and transient ischaemic attacks
Child Eligibility - Nasal Vaccine
2 & 3 year olds born between 1/9/15 and 31/8/2017 (WILL REQUIRE AN APPOINTMENT)
Please telephone 01449 776000 to make an appointment after 20th October, when the nasal vaccine will be available.
11 to 17 year olds who are in the “at risk” list above
Can either make an appointment or attend the walk-in clinics in Oct or Nov
If you are not in the “at risk” group, but a patient of Stowhealth, private flu vaccines are available at £10 per vaccine. Please attend the Walk-in Clinics on the above dates.
